Cancellation Policy

There are three types of courses: individual signups, club courses, and instructor-trainer courses.

In the event of any course cancellation by the Tubby Hook Paddle Company, the course will be rescheduled if possible. Participants who cannot reschedule, or if the course cannot be rescheduled at all, will receive a full refund.

Individual signup courses have participants sign up individually for a skills course or skills assessment. For these courses, participants may cancel a week or more in advance for a full refund, and three days to a week in advance for a half-refund. Cancellations less than three days before the course will receive no refund.

Club courses are courses hired by a group or organization for a set fee. For these courses, organizations may cancel a week or more in advance for a full refund. Cancellations less than a week before the course will receive no refund.

Instructor-trainer courses, wherein participants will be trained and given the option to qualify as instructors, guides, or coaches, can be canceled a month ahead of time for a full refund, and a half refund if two weeks to four weeks ahead of time. Cancellation less than two weeks before the course runs will receive no refund.
